Lower the cost of running your DataSynapse environment and add capacity on demand for free!

The Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service allows adding and removing compute resources on-demand, with the benefit of only paying for the hardware capacity needed, when it is needed.

With the launch of this beta program, DataSynapse is making it easy for customers to extend there current DataSynapse environment into the Amazon EC2 cloud, free for all of 2009.

To take advantage of this offer, customers need to formally enroll in the Federator 1.5 beta program. Federator is the DataSynapse management software which enables seamless use of engines running in the Amazon EC2 cloud.
